| Somewhere between the foolishness of youth and the wisdom of age cross over to the land of the listening. Many of life's issues may be solved less painfully if we listen to the experience and the wise.
Remember the Morton's salt box who reminds us, " When it rains, it pours!" One falling domino leads to another and another until our whole world is in a state of collapse. When we have times like these, we need so even to turn to, who will lead us out of the valley.
When in trouble, some will look for a bailout, a person means with the power need to drive them out if the ditch.
However, the Psalmist learned that no amount of money or power can liberate the soul held captive. Jesus once asked what someone could give in exchange for his own soul. The answer: there is no amount large enough to redeem ourselves. So it goes without saying that the price to redeem another is out of the question too.
What, then, is the answer for the troubled heart? It is the POWER of God's love! The source of redemption is the power in the blood, not our balance in the bank. Wealth is a tool, not a savior. This bit of wisdom comes to us from one who had it all, Waltham power, and money, yet to find life eternal and joy, he turned to God alone.
Our challenge today is to cross over t the land of the listening. Let us be humble enough to seek the wisdom in God's Word and mature enough to heed the lessons given. The God of our salvation is the God of all joy!
For it is WITH God all things are possible,
Father God, guide me today to do all things to bring glory and honor to You Amen
Isaiah 6:8 Never again will I be afraid to go where The Lord sends me. here am I, send me.
Acts 5:29 Never again will I be afraid of doing what God tells me to do.
Job 41:24 Never again will I allow let pride to control my life
Have a BLESSED Friday and weekend. Listen! Prepare to be a witness to the lost Luke 19:10
