Boot Sizing: HELP!
Elite Veteran
Posts: 747
So after struggling with getting my horse the proper size boots for a long time, I decided to further investigate why I can't get anything to fit him. Turns out, his legs are too short and his leg circumference is too large to match up with any of the Professionals Choice boots on the market
(his leg circumference is always a size above the height his let can take
). What do I do? I don't want to polo wrap him for life.
Side Note: Does anyone know how tall the Iconoclast boots are???

Would these work maybe? Looks like you may be able to customize fit/height

Check out some other brands, they all fit slightly different and something else may work better.

I would definatly look into flow boots. They fit different than any other boot and are very easy to wrap. I can't wrap a normal polo but have no troubles wrapping over my flow boots.
ETA: Iconoclast are about the same height if not almost taller than prof choice. --If that's what you were asking..

Ditto to this. I personally think Classic Equine boots are shorter than Professionals Choice. I have a 15.3 hand gelding who needs large boots
(can't do polos because he burns through them in 2-3 runs
) and the CE Legacys are a little shorter than I like on him. PC Elites are a couple inches taller
(at least on the back legs
) and I really like how they fit him.
