Location: Big Sky Country | Hi I have a couple of questions.... I started my new to me 21 year old barrel horse on Platinum CJ a little over a month ago. He was a free runner and the last couple of time I have ridden him he just felt very lazy and lethargic. That is the only thing I have changed. Has anyone else had this issue with PP CJ? I was also wanting to do a detox on him and was going to add animal elements detox and immunity boost. The detox now has joint support and just wanted to make sure it was OK to give together? I don't want to over load the old man on anything. The people at AE could not answer the question because they do not know about PP CJ. Thanks for any help. |

| I used to use Platinum and Animal Element together with no problem. The only reason why I stopped was I was not riding very much so I quit using them. My horse never got hot or nervous on it. |

Location: Louisiana | Is he still performing well??
I have changed a lot of things around with my older guy that's always been go go go. He is soooo laid back now. It worried me for a while. But when I haul him all I have to do is gather up my reins and point him toward the alley and he's READY. Goes in, does his job, and comes out cool and collected.
I quite like it lol.
Maybe your guy just feels good and is happy?? Unless of course he's no longer firing when he needs to.

Location: Big Sky Country | Hi, he does not seem to be firing as hard. I think I will take him off PP CJ and see if he picks it back up again. He just seems to have no energy. When I ride him I have to keep kicking him to keep him in a lope. Before I would ask him and he would stay in whatever gait I put him in. |

Location: Big Sky Country | can you feed too much msm, ha, and magnesium? How much is too much? |

| Pm me and I can discuss this in further depth with you. PPCJ is basically another feed. Animal Element is only herbs, minerals, amino acids. It has no fillers feed products and is all human grade ingredients. Adjust your base feed if you want to add more fat and protein to the diet. Animal Element Detox will enhance your horse in many ways. You can also purchase the highest concentrated and purest firm of msm on the market from us. |

| What are you feeding otherwise compared to what the old owner was feeding? If he was getting high octane and now he's getting regular unleaded... |

I was feeding the Platinum Performance formula, not CJ. The reason being, the PP had glucosamine and chrondroitin in it and the AE had MSM and HA. I really liked feeding them together. |

Location: Big Sky Country | He was turned out for 5 years and caught once a year to trim feet. His teeth were the biggest mess you have ever seen. So sad. I have had him since April and have him on Progressive feed with their Envision fat, alfalfa/grass mix free choice, and a mush with beet pulp and alfalfa pellets soaked. When I first got him I also fed him fast track and pureform glucosamine. I started him on PP CJ to get the colic insurance. I took him off the PP CJ and he seemed to be perky again last night. |
