The gambler in me desperately wants to enter. The adult in me who pays the bills says probably not. |

| I am considering entering. I just have to think on it for a little while before I make a decision. Either way, I hope it creates an opportunity for barrel racing payouts to mirror that of the World Series of Team Roping. |

Location: East Texas | Would like to go, but it is just so dang far from TX. My dad who is 75 and still roping will be out there that week. So may see if he has a open spot on his trailer,....hmmm. I may have to do some thinking. |

I live in Las Vegas and do not need or want a hotel room. It annoys me that they think everyone wants one and we have to pay for it.

Location: Idaho | Just reading over this throws a lot of red flags over the race. I no longer live in Vegas, but I did for a very long time. I would love to know where they are going to place these 400 horses downtown. I don't like the fact that there is limited contact information, it's just questionable. |

And rooms at that hotel are not that expensive and I would rather share a room and split the cost. Nor do I want my horse outside in Vegas in December where the weather can be unpredictable
They are charging 150 to park your trailer I could cut 500 off that fee and split that 150 if I ride with someone.. I don't need a jacket jeans or 100$ open arena fee
I don't remember the last time I was charged 300+ for a stall

All if this. Not only are they only offering the package deal but I'm guessing most of those items in the package are comped by sponsors. Entry fee is 1000 per race capped at 400 runners. That's $400,000 per race. Payout for each race is approximately $130,000. Maybe more but not promises. That's less than a 40% payback. The package deal.is just not worth it for me. If I could discount the room and the stall I might enter.
The producer is doing a good job answering questions on their Facebook page. I wish them success with these races. |

I have not actually been to this particular facility yet but considering that they say the stalls are across the street from the arena I hope they will have good security since the entire place is walking distance (2 blocks) from the Fremont Street Experience & all the wonderful characters that make up down town Vegas.

but... the Plaza, downtown?
I wouldn't need a room, or any of the extra $tuff either..

Yikes! That would sure make my mind up if I had been considering it. I would imagine they are putting up temporary tent stalls. |

Location: My Own Little World | Although this is a great opportunity to win a lot of money, I too have the same issues as many of you. I live here and don't need a room. AND if I did want the room (like a staycation) I certainly wouldn't want to stay at the Plaza. (bad part of town and not really that nice of a casino) The venue is not really in a place I'd keep my horse either. Now I'm not going to discount that this may be a VERY good race and I may be be sorry I didn't enter; although, I believe I'll just be a spectator this first year :) |
