Location: LaBelle, Florida | I have fed raw in the past and now use kibble for convience. However, I have chickens so always have eggs. All my dogs get an egg a day, shell included. When I feeding raw, I used mostly chicken, then beef, then what ever scraps I could get from the local butcher. Organ meat was mostly beef, kidney, liver, heart. Vegatables were usually carrots, green beans. I also bought plain sardines in water and they would get a couple cans a week. |

| I don't feed raw but do cook all my own dog food. I have a list of dog safe ingredients I will post after work. |

Or is it just an old wives tale that they will kill animals if fed raw meat? |

This is an old wives tale. I have two dogs that have fed raw. One has very high prey drive and will go after mychickens....has since she was pup. The male usually ignores them unless there is food involved. |

Thank you for the reply. OP Not trying to hijack your post. But this is a very interesting thread.
I have never fed my dogs Raw anything but now I know that if I ever get a wild hair too, the old wives tale has been debunked! |
