The 2 episodes with Kristie and Jordan are REALLY good. I have watched them several times each!

Although I think that safety is important when you're hauling, I thought it was such a horrible episode in general. :( I really thought the show was going to be a lot different than it's turned out to be. I'd rather see shows that are more behind the scenes with trainers & lady's on the rodeo trail, shows with tips, heck, even have an episode or two of some stallions since breeding season is coming than the shows that we've seen lately.

I think she was just showing the other side of barrel racers.  The weekend warriors, the barrel racers that work for a living but still love their horses and the competition of the sport.  I don't think it was "horrible" and I hope these girls don't come upon this post and read that.  It might not be everybody's cup of tea but you don't have to be rude.   I enjoy watching the NFR girls and the futurity girls but I also like to see the different side of things.  But that's just me.

Actually I and my husband both thought it was a good show.  How many of you, men and women get out of your vehicles looking at your cells.  Look at your cells while fueliing?  I bet more then will admit to it.  How many don't pay attention as they fuel up?  Check tires, etc?

We had semis for a long time.  Truck stops used to be a safe haven at the fuel pumps, (the lot not so much).  That was another world.  His advice was good, simple and  to the point.

More people need to pay attention.

Some pretty good points made here. I guess a few of us felt a bit mis-led as you would think having a 'racer's edge' will help show you how to be a cut above the rest. In reality the show seems to cover more than that and as you guys mentioned the many different aspects of barrel racers. Honestly, that's alright, I have to say I'm just happy to see a genuine series for the sport! (Y'all remember 'Rodeo Girls' I'm sure!)

For myself personally, when I watch a barrel racing show, I expect the topic to be on barrel racing. I have not cared for the last two episodes. I didn't care for the episode on the nurse and I didn't care for the episode on the lady running Wolfgang's in Las Vegas. I understand that many of us (myself included) have a day job and don't rodeo/barrel race full time, but if I want to learn about someone running a restaurant, then I"ll watch the Food Network. IMO. Nothing against the people they chose to interview; that's just NOT why I tune into the show.

Loved the shows on the Petersons and on Amberly. Wish I could have heard more from Britany! Even if we're not necessarily watching or listneing to them run barrels, I like hearing the backstory about how they got where they are and/or the backstory on their horse.

I don't like listening to things that have nothing to do with horses .... when I'm watching a barrel racing show. Again, JMO.
