You know, I told my husband the other day, I was NOT taught liberal journalism at K-State back in the 80s when I was a journalism major. We were taught to report the FACTS - not slanted one way or the other. It's AMAZING to me how much has changed with journalism or have my eyes just now been opened and it's always been that way? It's all in the eye of the beholder. I see a conservative slant to the news. And Faux News doesn't even report news. They just take up the agenda of the far right and tell whatever follows that agenda. But in fairness to them, they don't claim to be anything but partisian.
It's like sporting events. Each team thinks the refs are favoring the other team.
Plainly you don't watch FOX news, first and foremost they are a news station and if conservatives didn't have FOX news the liberal media would have total control over cable news. MSNBC, by the way, is pathetic on every level as is CNN.

I'll just add this. Years ago, I USED to trust and BELIEVE the news and the reporting done - back when we had RELIABLE reporters/newsmen - people like (YES, I am OLD), Walter Cronkite. NOW, not so much......

I'm saying back when I was learning the ropes, we weren't ALLOWED to opinionize, (if that's a word), we were to report the FACTS and not lean it any direction.
Heck, we got ZERO credit for a story turned in if you had misspelled anybody's name - that was BIG taboo.
Now, I see almost what I would call, editorials - NOT news stories. I also see a TON of misspelled words, incorrect punctuation, etc. and NOW we have spell check - I wrote my stories with a pen and a notebook! (Again, I am OLD) - guess I expect too much.

They've always been biased, including Walter Cronkite. It's just that now the media is overtly dishonest and actively working for their candidate. Fox is the only television company that has typically had a conservative slant, but they too have their own people who tend to be liberal.
The print media is probably 80% left wing, or left leaning. Even liberals have conceded this.
Bottom line is that when it comes to the media, the deck is stacked in favor of progressive-liberalism. That's just a fact.

Location: Kansas | Liberal media is working overtime to fabricate and blow out of proportion Trump's dealings with the ladies. Much worse are the findings coming out of Wikileaks involving Hillary.....mums the word. I'm disappointed in our local news crews. Just as they did with Mitt Romney, every day they manage to take a potshot at Trump while casting Clinton as Mother Teresa. It's still ABC, CBS and NBC any way you look at it.

Trump has never liked the press of any sorts. He has made it clear to American not to trust what you hear or read from the press. People need to do their own research to go above what they see, hear or read.

I do watch Faux News. They have the hottest chicks on TV. They had to be hot or Ailes wouldn't sleep with them and promote them.
Other than the hot chicks it's pure comedy gold. Just watching Sean hannity make up stories on the fly is funny as all get out. Then when he is the news it's even funnier. Remember his airport rant?
Oh, Oh, Oh Riley!! There's another cut up. Have you ever seen anyone this side of Donald Trump think so highly of themself?
hell, even Rush Dumbaugh doesn't pretend to believe his own stuff. Bill O actually believes himself. You can't make that stuff up.

You are right about that, Norma. Of course, my premise is 100% right as well. A lot of people saw this coming, including myself. Not many serious minded people were surprised. We knew they would turn on him. He was colorful, provocative, and flamboyant. That drew viewers. I'm pretty sure Trump expected a media frenzy against him. They had the onslaught lined up for quite a while, no doubt.

| Anyone running for president should expect there past being brought up,Bush, Reagan, carter and even Obamma (that is so hated) didn't have dirty laundry because they had self control, morals ethics. We are all accountable for are actions. In my opinion Mr.Trump is his own worst enemy, if politics were his goal he should have minded his manners. It truly has been a circus this election.

I wasn't trying to be argumentive just stating my opinion and observations perception varies from person to person, I have no desire to try and sway anyone, I'm just turned off to his behavior as a woman I've been harassed on the job numerous times by bosses. And Yes I think Bill Clinton was wrong in his behavior. Yes Hillary used bad judgement in using a private server. Again not trying to argue

There's nothing wrong with spirited debate or arguing. Listen folks, this is a very serious time for America. We need to stir it up, because our way of life depends on it. Make a list of the most important priorities in choosing your candidate. My top tier list includes, first and foremost, the Supreme Court. That's followed by ObamaCare/health care reform, jobs/getting people back to work, trade, tax reform, illegal immigration, national security, VA reform, law and order, healing the divisions in this country.
The lowest priority: Donald Trump's loins.

Nope no blinders at all.
Β Lol it is nice to chuckle a little in all this....love your last priority
