Our mind is like the control center for our life. Every decision we make and action we take begins with a thought. Our thoughts largely determine the direction of our life. If we are going to live a life of victory , we have to think the right thoughts.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
God has given us a way to have perfect peace: KEEP YOUR THOUGHTS FIXED ON HIM. We can't go thought the day thinking, or dwelling on negative thoughts. We won't have peace.
I have learned in my study, and feel this; if I have worry, negative thoughts, I am worshipping the devil. Meditating on the problem doesn't make it better, it makes it worse. When I pay attention to what I am thinking about, all throughout the day thinking God has me in the palm of His hand. ALL things are going to work together for my good. This problem didnt come to stay; it came to pass. This way I am worshipping God.
Here's the key: DON'T EVER start the day in neutral. You can't wait to see what kind of day it's going to be ; you have to DECIDE what kind of day it's going to be! First thing, I pray, Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Amen
This sets my mind in the right direction. THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY! EVERY morning is God's way of saying ONE MORE TIME, go make a difference, be kind, inspire a soul, pay it forward. Remember you are going to become what you think about. Proverbs 23:7 for he is the kind of man who is always thinking about the cost. eat and drink, he says to you, but his heart is not with you. If you don't set your mind , the enemy will set it for you.
If you will develop this habit of disciplining your mind to think the right thoughts and meditate on what God says, you will have more peace and more of God's favor and victory in every area of your life. And I believe and declare you will overcome every obstacle and become everything God created you to be.
For it is WITH God all things are possible.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Amen
