Contact Dr. Schell at Nouvelle Veterinary. He is testing a new product that will be patented and is having some pretty dramatic results with the navicular cases involved in the research study.

I did get the os-phos shot. Unfortunately, I don't know whether it worked or is working because my horse got a hot nail a week or so after he was given the shot. Ended up pulling the shoes and letting him sit for a good month.

yes, I used it for a horse diagnosed navicular by a MRI. He had a hole in his bone that looked like the size of a pencil eraser. I used Equibone for 5 months and only feed it with beet pulp per the TLC Nutrition on the phone. the calcium/phosphorus ratio had to be a certain percent and none of my grains fit. After about 5 months my horse did not want to eat the beet pulp anymore so I stopped. He was definately much better as far a being off. He was still off a little at a trot so I took him to vet to maybe get his foot injected, well lo and behold he trotted sound on pavement. Vet had me ride him and he was still ok. That was maybe 3 1/2 yrs ago . He has been sound since that day. just recently he started going off every once in a while and I just started Equibone again late summer. I went to a Paul Humphrey clinic and he asked me what I was doing for his foot and I said Previcox, told him about trying Equibone and what TLC spokesperson told me about the Cal/Phos ratio, and Paul told me he gives it to a horse with Omelene 500 and it works. So I went ahead and bought it again and will keep my horse on it. My navicular does not show up on an x-ray. one vet didn't think he was navicular but had a soft tissue injury that took a long time to heal. Originally when it happened he went from being totally sound, to being dead lame in a matter of 2 trotting strides. If I hadn't seen the MRI I would not have believed navicular.
