Location: SE Missouri | Keep in mind I'm in MO. Don't mind to haul but getting to the PacWest region probably isn't going to happen ??
Going to ride my filly today and really hoping to go to a few 5 year old futurities. She's FF & Triple Crown 100. Keep getting great reports so cautiously optimistic ?? |

Location: Where I am happiest | I'm no help in your neck of the woods. All the futurities out west are 5 yr olds and there are some GREAT futurities. Wish BFA would change to 5 yr olds instead of 4. That would make it more uniform all over. So much better for the horses. Patterning 2 yr olds so they can run a juvi at 3 and futurity running tuff open times at 4 is just insane. |

I know I'll have to travel and 10hours doesn't scare me if its an overall great deal! (Maybe farther if I can hit a couple over a week span)

Location: Where I am happiest | There are some really good 5 yr old futurities for 5 yr olds in Texas. There are 2 back to back in Etna in Jan. Put on by Wrappin3 and 321 action video.Arizona in Jan. Diamonds and dirt is also 5 I believe. There is a string of futurities in Wa in the spring but thats a haul. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Fizz Bomb in WY is really good and Future Fortunes as well. I think the ones in NE are good too. Ask Rockinas. She goes to a lot of the ones around here. She can tell you if they are worth it or not I am sure. |

If you want to make a trip out of it, you can enter the Fizz Bomb Sept 7-10 in Gillette, WY and then hop over to Belle Fourche, SD for the Roper Rally Sept 14-15. Roper Rally has free open riding (with barrels!) the 3 days leading up to their event. Camping is free (no electric). I went to both events last year and really enjoyed myself. Gillette has stalls, Belle Fourche you set up pens on site, or else stay at the rodeo grounds and haul in.
I follow the NRF Tour, which is MN, IA, SD based futurities. www.NRFtour.com |

Totally agree! There's next to nothing in the Southeast for 5 year olds. I was hoping No Bull wouldn't follow BFA format but they did :-( |

Location: Where I am happiest | In all honesty I think they are all pretty much good futurities. If they werent, they wouldnt be around. Bad races and producers are quickly gone. Word gets out really fast. Just read each ones rules and go where it fits. |

Location: run2win land | Don't forget Valley Girls and Sand Cup in April. Both in Washington. C-N in California in December is also a great option. |
