Ok, so I have already done a search for this, but it is just for new boots. I scotch guard my new ones too, but I had a really good deal on some used white glitter ones so I bought them. They are in really good condition, just a bit grey and dingey. I soaked them in a bit of oxiclean spray, scrubbed with a tooth brush, let them soak 30 mins in water with a bit of bleach and then scrubbed them again with blue horse shampoo. They are better but still not a flashy white(maybe they will never be again and thats ok).

Is there any other tricks you guys have before I scotch guard them?

I've never scotch guarded... Just wash in oxyclean every couple of runs and they come out good as new... and I've never noticed my boots wearing faster from the extra washes :) I would say youre on the right track with oxyclean followed by scotch guard :)

I've got those exact ones. Nothing looks flashier than white glitter boots! Unfortunately it monsoon rained like every time we had to make a run so they were MUDDY many times this year.  I hosed them off to get the chunks off, washed them in the regular washer, let them air dry and was totally bummed how dingy they were. SO.
I got my liquid laundry soap (it is blue in color)  and a scrubber of some kind, and went to town by hand with just some water and pure laundry soap poured directly on the boots.  I was shocked how white they got. Used the hose to rinse them really good and let them air dry.
