When do you switch out your leg gear? I have run classic equine For years and love them. But I'm just curious do you switch them out for new ones every year or every two years?

I replace mine when the Velcro isn't sticking well anymore. Depending on how often you use them etc it's ended up being every year to 18 mo for me

When I get tired of a color and sell them! lol

I've got some original SMB IIs from WAY back when, like 1999 or so, that I still use in the muddy practice pen!  Velcro still works and they are solid.

I've got around 9 different full (4) sets of boots, so they are rotated often enough that they stay in good shape.

I have the same ugly, Hunter Green, faded to a baby poo green, Bar F Splint and Bell set up that my dad bought new in the 80s. They're the best things ever. I make boot covers for them. Usually the boot covers are black. LOL
Stylish, I know.
But boy do I love them! WIsh I could find more that were made back then. I'd buy them all!

Like others have said, I use mine until the velcro doesn't work anymore.

Agreed -- I use mine until they wear out.

Red's turquoise pair is coming up on 10 years old (Prof Choice SMB 3)

I have Professional Choice and Classice Equine boots I bought in the mid 90's and they are still doing their job.
