So I started feeding my gelding Blue Bonnet intensify about a month and a half ago, and he has been doing wonderful on it. The one thing I have noticed is that he is a bit gassy, more so than he used to be. I spoke my with my vet about it when he came out to float him, and he said to maybe feed him with a probiotic to help him digest it better. I have thought about changing it, but I heard BB is just the best feed and other than the gassiness he works and looks amazing on it. So I went and looked around and there are SO many options, I don't know which one to pick! Was wondering if anyone here feeds a probiotic, and if so what do you use?

Forco, I won't be without ever. Not only does it help with greater digestion of their food, it has helped with body soreness and flexibility in my gelding's body. Fast shipping, too. I get it from Nevertooold on here.

Forgot to add, I also feed Formula 1 Noni blue label with my grain. Will Forco work with that?

I started my herd on Forco about a month ago and can't belive I have not added it to my program years ago.  For the price you can't go wrong.  There was just a long thread on here about it - do a search for it.

I really don't know but you might PM NTOO and ask her. I use it with my Cur Ost herbal supplements and it either is enhancing the herbs effect or complimenting it in my uneducated opinion. I did a little experiment when I ran out of the Forco just to see if it really was having the effects on my horse that I thought it did. It did - he couldn't do his carrot stretches as easily and he was a little stiffer about lifting his hind leg that has a spur on the hock when off the Forco.

I used to feed F1 noni and it's supposed to actually help enhance absorption, so yes it's perfect fine to feed together. Now if that claim is true or not is another subject....

I love my Noni!! I have seen a huge difference in my gelding since I have fed it to him!! And yes, it is supposed to help absorption..however, not that I am writing this I wonder if I am supposed to soak the grain in water or not? I don't see how it would make a difference but I know a lot of people who feed their grain dry.

Forco is a great product and very reasonably priced.
Not only does it have probiotics in it, it has Prebiotics and digestive enzymes I'm it.
If you don't have healthy bacteria (Prebiotics) to feed the Probiotics to in the gut you're not going to help your horse.

ETA: yes, it is compatible with Noni and just about anything else.

Forco is awesome! Plus the horses LOVE it, which is not the case for a lot of supplements.
