I bumped up other thread but didn't realize you meant for dogs.im sorry.i would DEFINATLY watch for Lyme's disease after you treat him.And a trip to the vet maybe for anemea church and hydration.what have you tried since you saw all those ticks?I'm not sure what colers is.

I'm not sure about ticks but Murphy's Oil Soap works wonders for fleas. So if you have that many ticks, it might be worth a try at least. And I agree with Jake on the anemia--my aunt's dog died from ticks years ago just from blood loss. Hope you get it figured out for your poor baby.

Ticks are hideous little vampires. We live in sandy soil and for some lucky reason seldom see a tick or fleas on our pets. Some but not the horror stories I see on BHW.

The best thing we have tried by far is the Bravecto chewable tablet. One tablet lasts three months even here in the woods of the Ouachitas in Arkansas.
