Does anyone feed Big V Feed to their horses or have any feedback or opinion on the quality of their products? I've found a local dealer that carries a 12/8 pellet at a good price and was curious to hear other's experiences with their feed.

A lot of people around here use them. They seem very consistent and high quality.

I see they have medicated cattle feed.Do they have a separate mill for horse feeds or is it all made at the same location?

Big V Feed is located in McAlester OK. It is a large mill but you would need to call them with the milling question.  I have been feeding Big V for a couple of years, I have been happy with their feed. I recently started feeding the 12-8 pellet and my horses are eating it fine.  They have a 14-8 sweet that I use a little of to mix supplements  with to add to the pellets so they don't leave the supplement in the traugh.

Nice feed.

**Not made in an ionophore free mill.
Talked to their nutritionist just recently about it.

We love our Big V feed. We feed the 14% textured race horse feed and love it. Very consistent, very clean.

Just recently switched from Blue Bonnet to the 14/8 textured from Big V....really like it so far!

I have a lot of clients that feed it to their horses as well and I have heard nothing but good things. I also recently purchased a colt from a racetrack barn just south of me (about 60+ head of horses) and everything in their barn is on Big V feeds, I was very impressed with the way all of the horses there looked.

Overall for the price, I think they have great feeds. Well formulated, good customer service and a great following.
