How do you clean the rough out on your saddle? Will any kind of stiff brush work or do you use something specific?

Any brush that is rough and textured will work. If you don't want to get too much elbow grease involved get a brush with very hard bristles.

Soap, water, oil, & a small wire brush! Yes you can clean and oil it like tooled leather and no it won't hurt it. If fact it will bring it back to life! Oh and a shop vac is the best way to get all the dust.
