Ice boots

I'm wanting to ice my horse's legs after every run. Most of the ice boots are pretty expensive. Is there any way to make your own or improvise? Have any of you used like a soft ice pack wrapped with a polo? Not wanting to spend the money on Ice Horse or Ice Vibe. Otherwise what are some good cheap brands?

I have the flow boot ice hock wraps. I hate them. They're big and bulky. So I'm going to try this.

This is a long but worthwhile watch. Carley ices Radio in a tub with bagged ice.

Equi Cool Down. I saw those at Congress and really liked the sound of them. They are pretty cheap combared to Ice Vibe and such.
My mom told me she always froze diapers and put that on the horse's legs!

The Tough 1 ice boots are about the cheapest you'll find, and they work just fine for cooling down a leg. They stay on pretty good too.
