I normally buy Western grown alfalfa, but I live in GA and this alfalfa looks and sounds pretty good. Its also a good bit cheaper, around here western alf is about $18+ for a 60-70lb bale. Would yall buy hay grown in this area, or would I be putting my horses at risk for something like blister beetles?
Also which cutting is the best to buy alf off of? I tried to research this but all the answers I found said it largely depends on the weather that year.
Here is the link to the alfalfa hay ad: It looks pretty green and leafy.

Looks good........you should be okay. S
Ga alfalfa is more genetic designed to grow in this area so it is a tad different........looks like this grows the extra mile to make sure his is right.......
I don't think we have the blister beetle issue here in the south........I would like to get some from I am literally right down the road but I don't have a place to store 108 bales.......I messaged him to see if I could get less.
