Send me your experiences with Oh Shiney and Jets Pay Day. Also what do you think they have crossed the best with? Thanks in advance!

I have been around several Oh Shineys at the track and loved them. The ones we had were very sweet and good minded. The one mare ended up being a nice producer as well. I had a granddaughter of Jets Pay Day who was gorgeous, she could run as well. We just had her at the track but I loved her.

I've had an Oh Shiney barrel horse.  He was very trainable, very personable.

I love any Three Ohs in a pedigree.  Have had several, liked them all.

We have a Nonstop Firewater out of a Jets Pay Day daughter.  She is a NICE nice horse!! That very same cross has produced 2 NFR qualifiers. Sydni Blanchards Firewater Five and Carley Richardsons Fashionable Boy. We bought this filly last year and she was wayyyyyyy behind and then she colicked early winter and spent a week in the hospital so she basically had the entire winter off so she's missed her futurity year for the most part. She's been to 2 barrel races total and entered one. lol. However, this filly is soooooo talented! She's big, pretty, and has all the right moves and really covers the ground yet turns like a little horse. Very quick and snappy! She has taken to the pattern like a duck to water. She takes everything very literally so you better show her right because that is exactly the way she will do it the next time and if you do it different she will let you know thats wrong lol. She can be hot and she's very sensitive but man o man she's going to be a good one.

I had a son of Jet's Pay Day. His name was Tennesee PayDay and he was out of a TB mare named NomNoe. He was a cool cat that won a lot of pro rodeo money! He had a super solid mind. Nothing phased him. At one point, I had to lay him off for 13 months during rehab of a torn SI ligament. At the point the vet said I could get back on his back, I just saddled up and rode off like it was nothing. He was just a solid, good minded horse. He could get a little hot at the gate but, only in a "let me go NOW" type of way. Wish he was still around. One of the greatest horses of my past!
