Expert Posts: 1207	I did pose the question on SecondVet and he had not dealt with it but has heard of it. So I am stumped as to what to do. He is a pasture horse and don't really see how he could have had any trauma to that ankle.

It Goes On Posts: 2262 Location: Muskogee, OK	Sometimes it can be a sign of generalized weakness of the hind end, and can also be associated with some neurologic conditions such as EPM. I just read the headlines Posts: 4483	Is this something a good chiropractor can help with? I know my people dr. will adjust my ankles, knees and hips. My ankles are very loose.

Expert Posts: 1207	Yes I think that will be my next thing to check if I can find an equine chiropractor in my area which is around Ardmore, OK. My chiropractor adjusts my ears for the ringing that is in them 24/7.

You get what you give Posts: 13030 Location: Texas	If the joint is truly subluxating I would think he would need more than a chiropractor. We had one where we wedged his foot with plastic pads then took radiographs and stopped wedging once the subluxation was corrected. Then we put him in a cast. I think they finally took him out of the wedges not too long ago but it took a long time.
