The Remembrance of God
With God all things are possible
Posts: 3917
Talking on the porch the man said, was it you or your brother that got killed in the war? Senility and forgetfulness are realities in life. However, they're not realities with God. The process of aging does not affect God. He ever gets old, or becomes tired. The Lord never says confusing things that are contradictory or senseless. And most important. God never has memory problems. We all become forgetful at times, but NOT God. " He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble."Psalm 9:12 God will never forget His own. He assured us of this through the prophet's pen: " Can a mother forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely, they may forget. Yet I will not forget you." Isaiah 49:15. God SEES you today. He sees exactly where you are in real time. God HEARS when you speak, and you can speak to Him anywhere and anytime. God KNOWS what you are feeling and experiencing this very moment. Feeling pain or discouragement? HE KNOWS and HE CARES! Experiencing mistreatment or injustice ? This is exactly what the Pslamist is referring to in verse 13 Have mercy on me, O Lord! Consider my trouble from those who hate me. Yรดu who life me up from the gates of death. ALWAYS REMEMBER that God REMEMBERS. He is a just God. Absolutely NOTHING gets by God, nor does anyone get away with ignoring Him. Verse 17 says, " Wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God". Don't forget the warning that to forget Him is to be forsaken. Don't forget the promise that God will never forget or forsake His own. Let us always REMEMBER! For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible.
Father God guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yรดu Amen

I thank God for leading you to use this for your "lesson" for today. There is stuff going on in my family that this just speaks straight to my heart to hear and understand for now. Bless you LJ for these words.
