One of my horses has swelling in the bursa on his front leg.  I'm wrapping it with leg sweat, plastic wrap, cotton and vet wrap.  Any tips to keep it from sliding down the leg?  Its just above the knee.

I stack wrap, I use the quick wrap standing wraps and then do my sweat and knee banadge above. That worked best for me as it still allowed movement and held up the knee wrap.

I have always used cotton because I feel more comfortable with the pressure then but maybe someone else has some insight on that and can answer. I used some elasticon along the top too

Dex mixed with cool green gel. Apply to swelling no wrap needed.

I agree with the duct tape, I used duct tape for almost a year on one of my horses that tryed to cut his leg off, after I did all my wrapping with the vet wrap I used the duct tape at the top of the vet wrap and wraped onto the hair so it would stick/stay. I had duct tape in different colors for this horse.

I'm having to wrap a front leg weekly. We tape the top and bottom. This wrap my vet told me to do has 5 layers........but it will last for a solid week because of the tape. So just tape it or use a splint boot to help sweat.

I use white bandage tape on the top and bottom of the wrap to stick it to the leg so it can't slide down.
