We are attending the NBHA Can Am there next month and wondering if anyone has any recommendations on hotels or places to see while we are there. We are coming from out of Province so want to make it into a little mini vacation while we are there!!!

There is always the casino in Midland. I don't know if they have a hotel attached or not. I would email Michigan NBHA State Director Diane Loosenort. She would be able to answer a lot of questions.

Dow Chemical is in Midland, Michigan. You can visit the Dow Gardens. They are beautiful.
The casino is actually in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. That's about 30 minutes west of Midland. Sometimes they have really good entertainers performing.

We stayed at Springhill Suites last year, very nice hotel across from the grounds.  Close restaurants.  I love the CanAm show, well run and nice facility.

There is no casino in Midland that I am aware of but there is one in Mt. Pleasant a little over twenty miles away. The hotel behind the grounds is a nice place. I was there last weekend, they have a nice set up.
