I have a 5 year old stud colt that I need to put that extra oomph on..: when I got his he was not fed well and clearly wasn't getting the nutrition he needed but got him because he showed a lot of potential and had really good lines... started him and he is doing amazing, crazy athletic and is really taking to the pattern, but back on subject I started him on platinum performance, Triple crown complete, and tribute K finish (fat supplement) and good alfalfa and grass hay ( separate not mixed) to try and get the size on him he was lacking due to lack of nutrition... he did really well for a while and was really putting on some size, then we hit a plateau in his progress... he doesn't look bad by any means but definitely not where I would like him to be... I have thought about trying Forco, T.H.E muscle mass, or DAC. They all seem like really good products, and I am aware they are all different types of products. I was wondering what y'all use and what you would reccomend for adding that extra oomph and last bit of growing a horse need?
Thank you in advance!
ETA: he is by no means skinny, can't see ribs or anything just needs mainly muscle/bulk and maybe a little height. Stands about 15/15.1 (both parents were tall so figure he should be too)

Of the 3, of course I am a huge fan of THE. It is a Complete supplement. Will offer all the vitamins, minerals and amino acids he needs. It is great for any horse, but especially sales prepping. So in your case it should add the extra he needs. But in all honesty, he will be what he will be in time unless he was completely stunted. Then you are just kind of out of luck.

Do you have any pictures you could post.. Sounds like you been feeding him right.. Since hes already 15/15.1 he may be about finished growning hight wise, I would think he would start growing in bulk now. Hes only 5 hes going to grown a tiny bit more so be patience.. How long have you had him?

Posting before and after pictures. I've had him for about 7 months now. I'm not as concerned about his height as I am just putting some muscle/bulk on him. He's just still kind of lean.

ETA: it won't let me upload my pictures from my phone..

I don't think he is totally stunted... when I say he wasn't fed properly I just meant they had him on pasture only for the first 4 years of his life. But thank you for your information that's the one I'm more leaning towards, since it's mainly just bulk I'm looking for.
