Location: where the wind blows | Heading to a show next week and will be gone 6 days. Looking for food ideas as I'd like to eat as much at my lq trailer as possible. I have a microwave, small fridge but can also pack an extra cooler. Also have cook top stove. I plan on making up some salads, hard boiled eggs, chilli. Any other ideas for easy healthy meals with easy clean up. |

Location: Texas | Use your crockpot and don't forget the liners. I like to make taco soup, brown the meat and freeze it and the onions. Then the day you want to cook it throw all the cans and such together and turn it on. Invite friends to eat with you because it makes enough for an army and storage can be challenging.
Baked potatoes with your favorite toppings is easy. Just microwave and eat.

| Tacos or chicken fajitas are our go to's. I also bought a small gas grill at Menards for $25 so we do brats or burgers. I use velveeta shells and cheese to make cheeseburger macaroni, you could cook the burger and boil the pasta at home then just heat and combine at the show. |

| For breakfast we brought a dutch oven and did a hash of bacon, sausage and eggs. We cooked it over our little charcoal grill.
For lunch we premade some chicken salad and brought pita pockets for easy eating while on the go.
For supper we had burgers, brats, and made a broccoli salad. We also brought asparagus and used left over bacon and had bacon wrapped asparagus and then cooked it in the dutch oven we used for breakfast - that was amazing!!
Other things we brought was some cottage cheese, a dessert, and then loose meat for sandwiches. Our goal was to keep it simple and it certainly was! We were at a jackpot for 3 days and not once did we have to go to the concession stand for anything. It was great!!!

| I make an egg white casserole, veggies, a little cheese, chicken sausage, cook it at home, pack in plastic bag, easy to heat up in microwave, I will buy a rotisserie chicken or cook grilled chicken at home, deli meat, etc. I have never used my cooktop, I cook eveything at home and warm it up using the microwave. |

| A friend and I hauled to Glen Rose this weekend. She brought a smoked brisket and I brought pork chops to cook on the grill. Between us and 3 other trailers, we had more than enough to eat. Never bought food from the concession stand the 3 days we were there. |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | We always do pasta salad, easy to pre make and it last! of course the usual brats and burgers but that does get old. We do a lot in the crock put just because its so easy to clean up with the liners. We also do a lot of chicken wraps and sandwiches. And we always buy a bag of the variety chips, that way you dont have a ton of opened bags around your trailer! It helps so much when you can take your own and not have to spend at the stands. |

| I like healthy and easy options....I pack mainly fresh fruit... and for protein, I like to go to the deli and ask them to cut 1" cubes of yummy smoked turkey for me. I can eat those cubes with my fingers when I am hungry. |

Location: North of Tulsa, Oklahoma | My Mom and I have a cook top but never use it. We use a mini George Foreman grill, a mini electric skillet and our toaster the most. We also have a smaller crockpot we use too.
We often take burger patties, small filet steaks, sometimes hot dogs, fresh veggies and dip or a pasta salad. Baked taters in the micro that we top with the precooked frozen chicken fajita meat and other goodies. Of course lunch meat and cheese, with bread or pita pockets, variety pack of chips to go with sandwiches, fresh fruit, and cheese sticks with crackers. Usually a couple sweet treats like brownies or cookies.
For breakfast we frequently cook egg beaters, use pre cooked bacon, and either toast or tortillas for burritos.
We always have micro popcorn, beef jerky, and tea bags to make sun tea. |

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | My mom has made verything from canned spaghetti to steak and baked potatoes. She doesn't like to pre make stuff because she has a 3 day rule. Other than chicken salad she makes everything at the trailer. When I go by my self it's concession stand food. |

Location: sunny california | chili verde in the instapot. that is good for two dinners. I don't like the crock pot as it has to run all day and then the generator is on too long. but if you have hook up then don't matter! for the arrival day - cold fried chicken and tater salad. I don't wnat to cook the night I arrive with settling the horses and getting camp ready. i like to keep boiled eggs, yogurt and protein bars handy. we generally fix breakfast and do sandwiches for lunch. or leftovers. oh I like to bring carrots and snap peas to dip in ranch dressing and some fruit and salad fixings. i premake my beet/green smoothies for two days and if i stay longer I bring a blender and make more but have the stuff in baggies ready to just toss in blender.
i brought can bisquits and cooked them on the waffle iron and then put an egg ham and cheese it was yummy |
