I have a horse that wears a 76" schneiders, and a horse that wears a 78-80". What size should I look for so that I could share the sheet for the both of them? I won't be able to able to afford 2.
Also, is it worth the extra to get the magnacu? Both of these horses have pssm type 2 and have back pain on/off, and the bigger horse has some arthritis from an SI injury.

I just bit the bullet and got a Mangacu...well worth it! My mare wears a 78-82 depending on the brand and I got her an 84, fits great but maybe coulda gone one size up. She is on 24/7 turn out but just went to a 3 day show that horses HAD to be stalled at. There was no grazing allowed(horses couldn't even go on the grass) so I was extremely worried she was going to stock up bad as she usually does. With the blanket and PHT wraps, her legs were tight and she was supple the entire weekend. I am sold on the products....

You need to go onto the pht website and read their measuring guide. http://magnacu.com/order.asp

Go out to the barn get a strip of duct tape, twine, sharpie, and a tape measure. Apply the tape evenly to the end of your string and place the end of the tape in the very middle of your horses chest. Take twine around the point of the shoulder and hip back to the middle of his tail and make a mark. Then lay your string out on the ground with the tape measure. If it's an odd size round up. This is very import. You need to do both sides of the horse and measure more than once for accuracy!! If you want it to fit both I would suggest buying one for the larger horse and letting it be big on the other. I have used my 82 on my stout mare that wears a 78 in pht. It's not ideal but it kinda worked. I have 2 now :) You definitely don't want one that's too small, nor too big. You may be better off to find two used ones that actually fit. If you only get 1 go for the magnacu.

Thanks for the replies and thanks for sharing the link too. I will remeasure them to make sure. I do share a LUX (like BOT but from schneiders) for the both of them and that works out well.
I still will only be able to afford one even used if I go with the magnacu lol! Been looking at the BOT PHT group on facebook, seems like there are lots of options available.
