Not to hijack your topic, but watch for ticks in that particular area folks. I just had a $200 vet bill because of the infection two ticks caused near the sheath. I check for ticks.....just didn't check high enough.
This is good info to know about the ticks. Thanks FRODO! |

Location: Texas | So I agree with your vet consults so far... I would wait and see what happens. They both appear normal and symmetrical, and they are both descended (which is the biggest concern we would have at his age). I bet if he was sedated we could really palpate on him and feel the spermatic cords and see if they are both coming from the same side (not normal) or if they are in normal position (one on left one on right) and for some reason the scrotum is abnormal and pushed them to one side. I agree he looks like a normal healthy colt and if you are gelding him anyway, it should not be a problem. I'm curious to see what he does as he gets a little older. |

Location: "Si Fi" Ville | I promise none of you would want him. I've ruined him! Not really, this was the colt I was gonna move as soon as he hit the ground because, I feared he was gonna be extremely hard to handle, temper mental and hot due to combo. But when he came here, he has been the best minded colt I've had in a long time, shockingly so. I was all up in his biz taking pics and he never gives a minutes trouble. I just want to make sure he's gonna be okay because I'm quite fond of him.
I appreciate all that read this and took the time to offer advice and thank you all so much for your sweet comments! I feel a little better that most agree with the vets. |
