I know its not a barrel saddle, but does anyone ride in a Mccall mclite for riding out and trail riding? Looking for something lightweight for riding in the mountains. I see they are only offered in a qh bar though with 6 1/2" gullet and I am not familar with how they fit. Anyone have one?

The McCall Wade's sell like hotcakes up north. Lots of people love their wade saddles.
The leather quality is far better than that of the next choice you have for trail riding which is a Circle Y or Tucker (by Circle Y and Reinsman).
Keep in mind, with any saddle maker, you can most likely request a special tree if you feel the tree it comes with will not fit your horse. Don't be afraid to ask them to change the tree specs.
I would give them a call and talk with them about fit and see if you can send the saddle back for a full refund if the saddle does not fit correctly.
Good luck!!!

ETA: McCall uses Diamond M Kevlar Trees. (Diamond M Saddle Trees is part of McCall Saddlery as far as I know.)  They should be able to get you a tree that fits your horse.

I love their Lady wades, but I need something lighter. Their mclite has a wade version and a trail version. I see they also have a couple diamond m saddles that are a lot cheaper, but not sure why.
They have the summit and the mile maker too... but probably out of my price range unless I could find a used one

Called them and asked about wider trees, said they could widen it out by rasping the bottom of the tree. But would be 3 months, really don't want to wait that long for a saddle, I need something to ride in right now. Riding him in my other horse's treeless endurance style saddle right now and I'd like something a bit more secure for him.

The diamond M are the same saddles only cheaper leather.

That's a bummer... but honestly 12 weeks for a custom saddle isn't bad. I know some have waited longer.

What direction are you leaning toward now?  Maybe another brand has a kevlar tree line? I would stay away from fiber glass covered trees.... But that's just me. The kevlar is light weight and won't warp like the fiber glass.
