I know the mare matters but if you made a decison on a colt based on the sire would you pick one by Frenchstreaktovegas or Repete Offender. Purpose of horse is to keep as a rodeo/open prospect.

FSTV has more earnings/is older.

RO has done or sired nothing. I suspect he will be awesome. But until he is awesome it has to be the proven Sire.
