| Anyone have a horse buck crazy from a neoprene cinch? I got a new horse had him for two weeks. Lunged him with a ranch saddle and fleece cinch and he was fine. Then the next week changed to a different saddle that fits him better and a neoprene cinch and bucks like a Bronc!! I bailed off and I'm ok. But he's not normally like that per former owner! And the trainer. I'm gonna switch back to fleece and see what happens! He's a mustang for whatever that's worth lol I've always had quarter horses or paints so this is not a good first mustang experience haha |

| Neoprene can grab, punch, and get hot. I've known more than a few horses channel their inner bronc when equipment doesn't fit right or feel normal. |

Location: MS | I had one that the neoprene started rubbing her hair off. She hated it. She's white with really pink skin. She was just sensitive to it.
I spent alot of time in a neoprene knee brace. I hated the way it flet. |

Location: Jersey Girl | I bought a cheaper neoprene ($20) and if it had not been for the fact he was shedding, he would have gotten sores from it. Luckily he didn't buck but he let me know he was not happy.
I have used the Weaver air flow girth on him without issue tho.

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | i HATE neoprene. I dont think there is any use for it on horses. Ive had nothing but problems with neoprene cinches. i love my smart cinch felt better. |

| Had a mare that was a sweetheart. I put a new saddle pad on, she bucked like bronc. Yes, it can happen. Switch cinches back. |

| I use mohair cinches. But I do have one super sensitive skinned horse who got really bad rubs from the mohair. Not really sure why, because everything else fit. I really didn't want to do it, but I bought him a CE Soft Touch neoprene cinch. For that horse, the neoprene works fantastic. No rubs marks any more, and it is super easy to clean. He loves it.
One day, I threw his saddle on another gelding. Didn't think to change cinches. Big mistake. I tightened up the neoprene cinch, he blew up, and dropped to the ground. Took the neoprene cinch off, put on his usual mohair and off we went- with out a problem.
