I hate cooking and cleaning Posts: 3314 Location: Jersey Girl	Honestly if the horse isn't meant to grow a long, lucious mane and tail they aren't going to no matter what you feed them. With that being said, I have found that overall good nutrition will help the growth nature has limited them too. My one gelding has never had more then a puff of hair for forelock and if his mane is 6 inches long that is really good for him. Mind you I have never been one to keep tails and manes braided and bagged. I'm sure that helps out some too.

Take a Picture Posts: 12842	Purina gave my trainer several different feeds to try. One was IMPACT PERFORMANCE. She said that her horse's mane has grown like crazy. I do not know if this feed is in feed stores yet because I tried to buy some and they did not have it yet. Her horse's mane has grown about 4 inches since the beginning of May.
