One common truth is that we are ALL broken and hurting. Hurting people usually end up hurting others, and we have all experienced the bitter pill of being hurt by others. But there is One, Who will NEVER hurt us....Our Lord.
Psalm 117:8 It is better to trust in The Lord than to put confidence in man.
This verse gives us life truth that has to be learned. Joshua 1:5
" I will not leave or forsake you." And "There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24
We may know intellectually that God is all we need,but we do not know Him well enough to allow Him to meet those needs. The secret of life is found in where you place your heart, your confidence, your soul. The Psalmist is reminding us that at a foundational level, people can't deliver the goods. Our hope for our salvation is Christ! Our HOPE for our families IS Christ! Our HOPE for our nation IS Christ!
Father God,guide to reveal us any area of our lives where our confidence lies anyone other than You. Allow us to serve others, not look to them for our security. Guide us, to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Amen. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible. Have a VERY BLESSED Thursday ALL !! God LOVES You! And so do I !!
