Location: Texas | Thanks I think we found a page on Facebook that can help facilitate the evacuation. Boats are needed though, so I'm not sure it's gonna happen |

 Scooters Savior
Location: "Si Fi" Ville | Alrighty my fellow Louisianians, Harvey is coming for us here, prepare to move your ponys, dogs, etc if you even think you may be in the line of fire because it's gonna get quite ugly real quick. Don't wait till roads are impassable. I can help move some animals if need be.
I still have accommodations, two bedrooms, big living room, horse trailer with living quarters. I can accommodate up to 10 horses, and some dogs and cats. I have access to a whole community of like minded generous souls willing and able to provide shelter and such.
Be proactive, be safe and call if you need me. PM For number.
Minden, La. 30 min east of Shreveport, 1 hour west of Monroe, 35 min from Ruston.
-----5 min off 1-20 exit #49 Minden/Dubberly exit.
I will pm my number to some of the those who are monitoring BHW in case someone needs me right away if you would please pm me if you would be able to pm my number if anyone should ask. Thank you!

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Houston Area Offroad has multiple people on the ground in Off Road Vehicles, boats, jetski's Etc that are ready and willing to help anyone in need. If you know of anyone needing help please refer to this group for multiple contact points for rescues. If you would prefer not to join the Facebook group feel free to let me know your situation or a situation you know of so I can post for help. This group lives in Houston, knows the area, and knows where to get in and out of Houston at. They can meet you and direct you in or out. I have a friend pulling a boat from the Austin area who will be ready and willing to help as well. He will be leaving soon and will let me know if he hears of anyone already inside rescuing and trailering horses.
Please PM me if you need me to contact anyone or post on this page to arrange a rescue.
Page found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/haorr/?notif_t=group_r2j_approved¬if_id=1504030888536770
I am sure we would have multiple members waiting with open arms to house rescues. Whether it be horses, people, dogs, or all. |

Location: Opelousas, LA | We have been lucky here, lots of dry air got sucked into the storm and sent our way. Harvey is forecast to come just to the west of us tomorrow but we are in good shape here right now and not expecting that to change. I have stalls and a camper (AC is fixed now) available plus a four horse trailer if I need to come get you. 254-721-0242. |

| Attention: One load of hay and one load of straw donation available 30 miles east of St. Louis. If you have a truck and trailer and can deliver to Texas Ranchers in flood call 618-781-1440 and ask for Luke. He will load you out. Drop off will be arranged for you prior to your leaving, probably a horse trailer dealership in the affected areas.
Attention: 300 fresh round bales of grass hay donated in Durant, OK. If you have a truck and trailer to deliver to Texas Ranchers in flood, Stevie will load you out. Contact Stevie Hizer, 832-401-2485. Drop off will be arranged for you prior to your leaving, probably a horse trailer dealership in the affected areas.
Some hay is being air lifted once you get there. |
