Hello, I have a gelding who is super sore in his Withers. He is good for a about a week or so after a chiro adjustment but then he is sore again. They recommended going and having his Withers injected?? I have never heard of a thing. I am being referred to a vet that deals with lameness on Wednesday. Anyone deal with soreness in withers?

Did you have your chiropractor check your saddle fit? Or you might need a new/different saddle pad?

I would definitely take the saddle and pad with you to the vet and have them check the fit. Just an idea.

Any time my horses came up sore in withers, is because they had ulcers.  As soon as ulcers were treated then wither soreness went away. Just my experience though.
