| I think I saw a couple videos of one of Claytons foals running a week or so ago on Facebook and doing well. I follow someone who has a hotshot clone baby but don't see them doing much with it.
On a side note, the only full brother to Latte is going through the VF sale on Sunday. VF the Main Squeeze |

The weekends are always slow on BHW, maybe tomorrow you'll get more coming on here and giving some updates to your question.. |

You can always tell when it's really heavy running season cause the weekends are sparse on here---I have withdrawals almost from lack of info |

Iโve been quiet FOR ONCE! Unfortunately not because I have great tales of going to the barrel race this weekend- we are 13 days from wedding day, so Iโve been on straight wedding planning mode. |

| There are a few cloned stallions standing at Timber Creek Veterinary Hospital (http://www.timbercreekveterinaryhospital.com/content/stallions). There are several more out in the hands of breeders and trainers. There has been more activity in other equine disciplines in last few years than in barrel racing. Could be many reasons for that. Large public successes drive more rapid adoption. Technology that works is usually adopted over time. The good news is that there are a number of different ways to build better breeding programs and there is plenty of room for all good ideas. Cloning is just one tool in the toolbox. |

The "public success" with cloning is what I am wondering about. It "seems" that there is none in the barrel racing world, but like I said I am not in the loop other than on here or the Barrel racing report and some FB. So, naturally I am curious as to where it is headed in this industry, but without successes it would "appear" it is not headed anywhere. Is there not one clone running anywhere with any success? Thank you for your reply. |

Location: Sherman, TX | Mary Walker does have a clone of Latte....she said on Facebook he does many of the exact things Latte does and I do believe he is being started on barrels? Think he is old enough now?? I think it was the youngest Steinhoff girl who has a colt who she said is going to be "super nice" on the barrels who is almost ready to enter by Another Shot, Hot Shots clone. One of Another Shots sons sold in the Victory Farms Sale last weekend and he looked nice too. |
