Location: Arkansas | I just have to brag a little on Lula Bell---she's getting inducted into Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society tomorrow. (And Sean and I have to work, so we can't go. . . ) She's worked so hard these past two years, and since this is her SR year, she's working even harder! She doesn't get to barrel race much right now, but her dedication to her nursing degree will pay off. Her end desire is to be either a nurse anesthetist (sp?) or an anesthesiologist. She's 20, has her head on straight, and we are so proud of her. And I get full credit for picking her, even tho Chandler disagrees---we were at a playday, and I told Chandler he should go talk to her, that she was very pretty and seemed to be nice. He said he thought she seemed "stuck up"---they were Instagramming within a day or two, and here we are 4 1/2 years later. Score one for Momma 
In all seriousness, I am so glad she's the one Chan is with---I see some of the other girls her age, smoking, drugging, drinking, running around. . . They are both homebodies, and being spoiled is both of their biggest vice. I got called naive when I told an old friend that I was so happy they didn't drink or smoke or do drugs. He told me I had my head in the sand--- but I'm with them or see them daily/nightly, and don't think I haven't smelled of them before just to make sure!! I do know they aren't the norm, so I thank God for that daily. Ok, I know I've bored y'all enough, so I'll end my "momma moment"

| This is fantastic. I know you are proud. I have several very young friends who just graduated from nursing school and I am so proud of them too. Such a great profession. |

Location: Arkansas | They said the ceremony went well, and that Laura was so pretty. I have yet to see pictures, so I'm a little perturbed---I mean I stayed and read meters and checked fish, surely they could supply some snapshots, right?!!!! |
