I'm going to be the odd person out on the Equipulmin here. I will tell you my experience with 2 horses. I've used it religiously for a year and a half now. I'm finally almost done with my last gallon.
I was told originally it helps bleeders/allergies, in which it DID at first with my one horse. But I can't give it 3 times a day due to my busy work schedule either..so I gave it once a day for a couple weeks at 120ccs. Then about an hour or so before I ran. No coughs.
About half way or more through our hauling season it seemed as if it literally quit working? I gave 120ccs starting on a Thur and all through the weekend I ran. My one vet some horses can get immune to all these herbs. I'm not sure. But at $150-160/gallon I think I'm going to invest in an Equi Resp along with another coughing ailment maybe WindAid. And yes I do run on Lasix now since the Equipulmin definetly did not prevent bleeding

I use the LCR and Respiratory from Silver Lining Herbs religiously for my bleeder and my "heevy" horse.  I also nebulize before I run and I pre race paste with Oxygen O2.  Seems to do the trick.  The "heevy" horse is a calf horse so he gets Respiratory daily plus he gets Doterra oil mixture before he competes and gets nebulized as well during the strenuous season.  (Smoke, dust etc)

Mine is a bad bleeder (last fall was bleeding through 5cc of lasix). I have her now on Bleeder Stop by Oxygen (been thinking of switching to Race Today by Vetline Equine) I love the Bleeder Stop but still feel like we need a little help. I also have her on Respiratory Support from Simply Equine (I sent in a hair analysis and she suggested some things) to help her out.

I also give electrolytes 2 days before running, and the day(s) I run her, and the day after (if it's a big show two days after). I also give Wind Aide a few days before and the day I run. I also recently started running her with flair strips and have noticed a difference.

For every day use due to dust in/around the barn, if you have an arena at home and rely on rain and haven't had any in a while, contact your local volunteer fire department. Some for a donation may come water your arena for you...if not you can water down around you. I have also used vicks around the nostril (not inside cause they do NOT like it lol) and it will open the airways too.

We brought Race Today in because we had so many customers asking for it.

Meh... They claim you can use it instead of Lasix... Do they actually have case studies to prove this? That's a pretty bold statement to make otherwise.
