Wild rags for sure!

Most of what I do at home in the winter is just conditioning since we have to haul out to an indoor so I usually ride in my rope saddle (more room) and carhart coveralls. I wear Ariat terrains and good wool socks. I’ve thought about getting a pair of BOT socks to try too. I have a long sleeve BOT shirt and it is super warm.

I live all year in my BOT stuff but the socks are diffently one thing I could live without. My feet never get warm in them, I think it is the material.

Well that’s a drag.

How do you guys ride in all that gear? We don't have winters like you do, I might put on a Carthart jacket and it drives me nuts, so bulky...my attire for the winter time is usually a zip up hoodie! LOL!

Most of what I would do bundled up like that is just long trotting out in the pasture or hay field. Not a lot of dexterity required.

When I haul out to an indoor to actually train on one it usually only requires long underwear and a hoodie, maybe a carhart jacket until I get warm. Not heated indoors, just kept closed up and out of the wind, goes a long way.

I am in Minnesota and my twisted x - boot/sneaks are surprisingly warm and wear those a lot for riding in the winter. I bought some fleese infinity scarves from old navy for $1 and wear those while riding. I cant do the hat thing so I buy those knit ear bands. Wal-mart has thermal pajama sets and I wear those under my clothes ($10ish on black Friday). I am cheap but warm!

Also fleece sweatpants (bought mine at goodwill) but the best for the coldest days.

You might check out the Draper Therapy socks. Similar technology to BOT socks.
