Tell me the good bad and ugly about them. So far everything I've read from online people and friends is that they love them but I love to hear from you guys. I'm seriously considering buying one very soon.

I bought my first one back in 2010 used from Ebay to see if I liked it, and have not looked back. It's the only thing I ride in now. Sold the used one and got me 2 brand new ones to keep. Couldn't be happier.

I love mine. I would definitely recommend riding one first to see what you think, because they are not for everyone. I personally have my stirrups hung further back. I like to keep my legs under me and be able to post a trot.

I have solely ridden in Bob Marshall saddles for over a decade. Have 4 of them. I cant fathom why people wouldn't like them, but to each their own.

I love mine. My horse is super hard to fit and I havent had any soreness issues in the 2 years I've owned the saddle.

I have one I’m selling for a friend, she liked it but sold the horse she bought it for and didn’t care for it as much on her other horse, just two very different horses.
They aren’t personally my style, I just think it’s a personal preference thing. I’m taller and ride smaller horses, physics is enough of a pain that I’m not sure I’d want them to feel my absolute every move.

Try before you buy if possible. I bought one years ago for a super nice young horse that I couldn’t find a saddle to fit.
(It still slid around all over as well
).
The pros: the feel was awesome. I could feel everything and felt really in tune. It was ok for shorter rides. Lightweight.
The cons: the horse can feel everything too. Which can really be funny if you make a wrong move lol. Also I used it to gather cows and I felt like I had been beat up or run over by a train. It really wears you out all that movement. I felt pretty sore and I was used to riding a lot already. Also it really holds you in so I felt kinda trapped in my saddle. Which I like to be able to move around.
i sold it and went back to trees. It’s not my cup of tea. Shorter rides maybe but definitely not rough riding or gathering lol

I ride a Jackie J and Love it.. but find that my fenders are much too bulky.. I ride with them on the shortest hole
(probably could fix that easy by switching out my fenders
). ANYways.. wanting to try a Bob Marshall but wondering the difference between the Circle Y Bob's and the Original BMSS? Thoughts?
