| My husband got to witness this really cool phenomenon this morning. He was driving along and saw these two giants locked up from fighting. He called the DNR and an officer came to help him. The officer managed to get a clear shot at the locked racks with a rifle and broke the racks apart. Risky, but certain death would have followed if they remained locked together. Will take you to a video of them on FB as well. https://www.facebook.com/aaron.fedler/videos/1987914001237430/

| I would have accidentally shot both of them and had delicious dinners all winter! Let nature take its course, and if they are going to die anyway, might as well be dinner. |

If it was on our property, I'm guessing my husband probably would have shot one of them, and called a friend (or me if I could leave work!) and shot the other one. But since he was just driving down the road, he called the DNR. Would have been super cool to have them mounted stuck together. |

Location: Arkansas | I think it was good of your husband to call someone; a lot of people probably would have just driven off.
What state are you in? |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | That was a great shot by the wildlife agent. One or both of them will probably get to live through the deer season because of a broken rack. We don't see deer down here with racks like that. Both very nice bucks. Thanks for sharing. |

The kind of deer that totals your vehicle if you hit them.
I've had 2 bounce off my guard grille since moving to Texas. LOL |

Sean's cousin hit 3 within a week, but only one did any damage (bumper knocked in a little). One of my clients had a really nice buck hit her Tahoe; they thought it was totalled, but the adjuster said it was 3500 short. . . . When the weather starts changing around here, the deer open season on vehicles!! |

That's definitely the case around here. That's why Iowa has very few quotas on the south end. The insurance companies want them all killed! |

Since they are cutting the corn fields they are moving for more cover. The other morning you would have thought I was drunk with all the road swerving going on. Deer 0 me 10. Thanks for sharing. |
