Who would you breed this mare too?? I already have an Eddie Stinson that is so athletic out of this mare so i thought about breeding her back to try to get a filly but wanted some feelers. Please tell me what stud you love and WHY!

thanks

If you were happy with Eddie Stinson before, I would not hesitate to repeat that breeding. She has a lot of foundation blood so should be bred to something with more speed lines like him or another DTF son.

I'd go with Streaking ta Fame.

Since she has a lot of foundation/cow in her bloodlines, and not much run (but some nice TB), I would breed her to a running bred quarter horse. I’m not sure your budget, but here’s some of my picks:

Desirio (Strawfly Special x Lady Tenaya by Sixarun)

Ivory James (Corona Cartel x Dashin Follies by Strawfly Special)

Jesses Topaz (Mr Jess Perry x Paddys Topaz by Paddys Irish Whiskey)

Fiesta Royale (Royal Shake Em x Firewater Fiesta)

If you have a nice Eddie Stinson foal, you could always look at other DTF sons with different dam sires and mix it up that way!

I really like the older bloodlines of your mare. I'd like to see a picture of her in order to judge conformation, and see her strengths and weaknesses.

Bloodline wise- she should cross well on many studs. If you already know Eddie Stinson is a nice cross, I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Streaking to fame or Lions Share of Fame are nice rascals.

Two that I personally like the best are Shawne Bug Leo and Fly the Red eye. SBLs are smart, dang sure athletic and user friendly. I'm VERY pleased with mine. FTRE is an AQHA Supreme Champion - so he has AAA speed, is good looking ( Reserve world champion performance halter stud), and athletic (points in reining and roping). The colt I have out of him is good looking, extreamly balanced, floats across the ground, super good disposition, and is too smart for his own good.
