Anybody use these? How hard are they to put on? Do you still put hay ring around them? I’m just wondering about catching a shoe in it too......

We use hay chic nets. Love them, the hay saving is amazing. Yes if u have horse's with shoe on you need to use a hay feeder. They redesign the round bale nets and are a breeze to put on. I can net a bale all by self. I cut the strings off the bale after I put the net on.

Hubby has plans to build a feeder for the horses and we'll use a net with it.
Right now we just throw a bale out and they make a giant mess.

I use a ring around my bale and net but I do know several people who only use the net and have had no issues with shoes getting hung.
