Location: IL | I have a LQ featherlite trailer and the insurance on it is too high. I have it thru Travelers along with my vehicles and house insurance. It seems very high, it's acutally more to insure the trailer then the truck that pulls it. What insurance companies do you guys use? I have to have insurance on it, as we do have a loan on it. It over $600 every 6 months with a $1000 deductable. |

| We have Pekin.
My '14 truck, a flatbed trailer and a '17 Sundowner are about $1200/year combined. Although, I am going to shop around this year just see what's out there. |

| Try Farm Bureau. I didn't have much luck with them but maybe you can. |

Location: Louisiana | We have ours on our auto policy with State Farm. It's an older Exiss with full coverage insured for replacement value (I think we had settled on $18,000 with our agent) and it's CHEAP, like $20ish/month. Cheap enough that when I pay off the small loan I took out for it I will keep full coverage on it. |

Location: sunny california | your deductable is too low. generally if you opt for $1000 deductable you will get a way better rate. so much so that you could have banked that $900 a couple times over in a few years. |

| 40/month with st farm, 500 decuctible -full coverage for 2007 Cimarron 4H with 10’ LQ This year I had a water line leak and ruin the floor, they had to rip out the whole LQ to replace the floor so I did a different floor plan-all covered by insurance. |

Location: Jersey Girl | I pay $190 for our insurance. 3H LQ. It's thru a company that insures farm equipment. I don't remember the name off the top of my head. |

| I just bought a new-to-me older model Featherlite 3H but no LQ. I added it to my auto and home policy and about fell out of my chair when she told me how much for full coverage - $500 deductible and $112/year. I expected it to be much higher. For clarification, your pickup insurance will cover liability only on your trailer when pulling but not for anything else. For $114 a year I will keep the full coverage when it's paid off. |
