I have been lucky to buy from some farmers but last year I bought 4 ton of oats and noticed the big bags they were in had tags from a pig feed. So I poked around in the oats and noticed a small pellet through out so I called and sure enough it was a medicated pig feed that had been in the bags. There was not a lot in it but enough to do damage. I am pretty leary of feed now so I worry about safety. I will not feed nutrena, purina, triple crown anymore and I know a couple of those have clean mills but in our area they are not coming from those mills so I don't chance it.
