Location: Northern Ontario | This is gonna be a weird post but anyway. I just bought a new horse (Yay me!) And he is supposed.to mature to 16hh. I have alot of classic equine boots for my mare and they are all size medium. Im worried they won't fit my new guy later on (he's only 3). So my question is, what size does your horse wear and how tall/what build does he have? It will help give me a better idea. |

Location: South Georgia | Just go with the Mediums, they are versatile. Unless he has huge bone width, they'll be just fine. Down the road, if they don't fit, order a pair of Larges then. |

Location: Kansas | My herd is large but will give you some ideas of what size different height horses need I have a 14 hander who wears small or medium bell boots, polos only no boots. My 15.2 (maybe a 1/2 inch shorter) gelding and my 15.3 hand gelding wear larges in everything. I also have a 16 hand gelding who wears large bell boots and XL in Classic Equine Legacy boots or large Professionals Choice Elite boots. |

| I use PC Elites:
I bought a 16 hand gelding last year - I bought large boots before he arrived. The large are too big around.
My filly is 15 hands and fine boned, so I thought maybe her med boots were too big. So I ordered her smalls. Too small!!!
Mediums fit my fine boned 15 hander AND my thicker boned 16 hand guy.
Who knew!? |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | I would say keep them. I have a 14.3 gelding and a 16.1 gelding and they both wear medium CE legacys on the front. the bigger guy needs large rears. But its nice i can switch up the fronts between the two and not have to have double in two sizes lol. Recently i found my smaller guy seems to like the Iconoclast better so guess whos getting new boots this season. lol |

Location: North Dakota | Just depends on the horse and their bone structure. I'd hang onto all your boots.
My old Beau was 16.1 hands. I wouldn't call him fine-boned but he was not a thick horse. Wore medium in Prof Choice just fine on all 4 legs and medium bells boots.
Red is 15.2 hands. Very beefy quarter horse and very thick, but has typical small QH feet. Wears medium on all 4 legs. Medium in bell boots.
Shotgun is about 15.3 hands. He's stoudt and has very strong legs and feet. He's a tough fit. Needs large on the hind. He should probably have large on the front too but he has such short canon bones, then they are too long in length, so I make do with mediums. He needs large bell boots on front. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | My 17 hand hunter and 15.2 barrel horse (FWF bred) wear Med in every brand but Iconoclast. Large in those, but I find those run small. They both wear the same size girth as well. |

Location: Northern Ontario | Oh good! So my gelding will probably fit them then :) I used to have a set of larges but they were way too big diameter wise.for my mare |
