Hi All-
I haven't been here in a while and my husband was previously going to be transferred to the Show Low, AZ area for his work. Well...that didn't pan out so they are sending him to Tempe.
We will be living in the Gilbert/Queen Creek area. Anything I should know? Other than it's hot and there are a ton of cactus.
(We are from Southern California and are familiar with all types of cactus as well as heat.
)
Horsey things to do? We will be boarding our horses...stables to stay away from? Stables that are awesome?
Cool/fun things around town? My husband and I are in our 30's, and we have a preschooler. Thanks All!! I hope to go to some races in my new town once we get there!

Don't know a thing but it is warm there... but do you want a barrel racing buddy from Dec-Feb?

You and the hubby and kids are always welcome. We can go race at Buckeye in January. The place where we will be boarding they rope 2x a week, so our husbands can get some practice time in, too.
