What is everyone feeding their broodmares - yearlings? Mare and foal feed?
I am looking for something to add to their feed. Currently getting quality grass hay free choice
(or pasture depending on the time of the year
), alfalfa am/pm and platinum performance.
I do add oats to my finished horses with the above.

I wouldn’t feed it if I had a bunch, but I only have 1 yearling
(his momma died
), so he gets Blue Bonnet Intesify Growth. That stuff is bomb. I just couldn’t afford it at $24/bag if I had a bunch of them.

Blue Bonnet Intensify Growth & Development is awesome! I've had great results with it.

I'm currently feeding my, due the end of March, 23 yo broodmare, Strategy
(3/4 coffee can
) plus a cup of Alfalfa pellets, once a day. However, I'll soon be confining her to a run & stall and she'll get fed twice a day plus good Bermuda hay. So I will adjust her feeding size!!
I usually feed her the Omelene for broodmares, but I'm told Strategy is just as good!!!

I feed a 14% pellet. Moderate price feed. 4 pounds morning 4 pounds at night. Half a cup of GROSTRONG MINERALS at night. Approximately 20 pounds of hay split between morning and night. Half alfalfa half coastal. All three of mine look terrific
I might add that I bought a bred mare in early December. She looked terrible. She has probably gained 200 pounds. It has even amazed me what a little feed can do. Had this mare's teeth floated too.
Also regular worming is essential.
