I don’t wrap a lot because I don’t haul a lot of long distances, but when I did Mom always had me wrap standing bandage and polo, if super hot or if needed I would use poultice as well. I have used the quick wraps that are like fleece on the inside and nylon outer layer but they get really hot, so I prefer not to use them. I hauled 2 horses last fall one in reg bandages and the other in quick wraps and the one in reg bandages was cool when unwrapped, One in quick wraps was sweaty.

Unless it's a short trip
(less than an hour or so
), I wrap legs with no bows, standing wraps and a liniment mix of my own to keep them tight and cool. Especially if I'm hauling them to compete.
