I don’t wrap a lot because I don’t haul a lot of long distances, but when I did Mom always had me wrap standing bandage and polo, if super hot or if needed I would use poultice as well. I have used the quick wraps that are like fleece on the inside and nylon outer layer but they get really hot, so I prefer not to use them. I hauled 2 horses last fall one in reg bandages and the other in quick wraps and the one in reg bandages was cool when unwrapped, One in quick wraps was sweaty.

barrelracinbroke - 2018-03-16 9:08 PM Unless it's a short trip (less than an hour or so), I wrap legs with no bows, standing wraps and a liniment mix of my own to keep them tight and cool. Especially if I'm hauling them to compete.
