What type of feed do you all use if you have a horse that has allergy and coughing symptoms?

I've found that making sure to rinse my hay before I feed it does help with my allergy horse. She eats safechoice original and is out on grass mostly.

I highly recommend an allergy test! It has helped my horse bunches! and saved me money too! I know what I can feed and not feed him!

My horse broke out in hives over everything! The first time was using show sheen, then the "No see ums"
(some bug
). Anyway I've used hydoxazine, bug check, ect. I started him on MSM, and its been 2 years now, and no more hives!

It really depends on the horse. Mine does fine on his normal feed Tribute Kalm n Ez. A lot of people like to go all natural and feed oats but it made my horse way worse. My aunt was feeding hers just a little beet pulp. Whatever you feed add flax to it!
