What would be a good step down bit for running in if I'm running in a Charmayne James Waterford bit?

I like the idea of those but he can't have any gag, starts getting pretty pushy with it. Good thing Cervi came out with her non gag series!
ETA; scratch that on the chain, gets him too noodley. Any other ideas?

I typed in Waterford mouth bits and came up with these pics. They are shorter shanked, which would reduce the severity. Not sure if the one with the rings is gag action or not. The other one is essentially a Jr Cowhorse.

The nice thing about the ring one is that you could put a german martingale on it to help with the bracing.

I'll have to look up that JR Cowhorse looking one. He's actually not bracy, he just likes it more than a dog bone.
